Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about your horrible weekend and subsequent itching. I don't have any words of wisdom from a parents standpoint but from a child that was rather wild in college and didn't apply myself to make the grades. I was kicked out for a semester but more importantly I had thousands of dollars in debt on credit cards, like your sister (didn't remember her owing back taxes, but probably is worse). My real father wanted to my Mom and Stepfather to kick me out or send me to the military. The problem was that wouldn't have solved my debt problem other than declaring bankruptcy. That was the first time my SF tore into me and it didn't feel good. Not to mention my Mom took it out on me for having to put up with SF taking it out on her (both his kids were 3.5+ students, etc., etc..). They gave me a second chance. I worked 90+ hours per week for 1 year, no days off at all. Paid my SF back (loaned me the money so as to avoid interest rates) and used CCCS (consumer credit counseling service) consolidate my other cards and eliminate interest charges. Short story long, my parents (I call my SF Dad) gave me a second chance and I made good. Sometimes it doesn't work out. Hope you can get your itching under control and you can resolve the many issues you have to deal with. Darin
