Guest guest
Yes the goal is so important like you said . There is not one person in this world who does not suffer. Can you think of one person who does not suffer? I think our life on earth is like a school. We have to learn something here. And we learn through our suffering. I think if you see someone who is gorgeous, rich, popular, and everything goes their way they are usually a shallow person. And lots of times they are impatient with others who do suffer. It is suffering that teaches us compassion for others. And I personally think that is the major lesson. We are here to learn compassion for others. My question now is: ok God, I have learned this compassion for others can I stop suffering now? LOL nope. There¡¯s more to learn is the answer. So keep our eyes on the Godly goal, the compassionate goal, the spiritual goal, the healthy goal and you can¡¯t go wrong. Love ya back rosemarie > > > > > > AND AMEN TO THAT! > You are sooo right. Healthy minds and spirit is what get us to our goal. All > that matters > is what you choose as goals for Life. That is where our end of our rainbow is, > that is what(where) the treasure lies. > We are blessed to have one another here in this site. It keeps our spirits up > and keeps us going to reach our goals and our health. > Love ya, > M > > > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > From: <laurvick@... <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> >>>> <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> > >>> >> <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> > > >>>> >> > Subject: RE: Joanne/nancy/ruth/Carol etc. > >>>> >> > To: fibromyalgiacured >>>> <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>> >> <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>>> >> > <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>>> >> > Date: Wednesday, 27 April, 2011, 22:02 > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > Joanne - I, too, have a laptop but usually have it sitting on a >>>> desktop or > >>>> >> > table top. Guest guest
Beautifully said, RoseMarie, The other day I was very upset and frustrated. I complained to Isaac...You know that is why I do not like to hear Preacher_______, because he preaches if you love God and accept Him in your Life He will make you rich and never want for anything. He will give you riches, prosperity, etc,. etc,.etc. I have no money...I have no job...I have sickness and now a broken car with no money to pay to fix it. " I hear my young daughter saying: " Get a new car that is what you need to do. " I try to explain that my illness keeps me from a job in order to afford a new car. Her comment: " Yeah, I get tired too, but I need to work. "  " Uhhhh " I am left exasperated. I continue telling my husband I am tired being without. It is bad enough that there are thieves that broke into my home, neighbors that aren't the friendly kind(actually they do not understand the illness), I cannot go to daily Mass anymore(this was a comforting solace for me in these hard times) and I went on and on a tirade of complaining. My husband sat patiently waiting for me to finish. Then he looked at me and reminded me. " , God did not promise complete happiness in this world BUT He did promise He would make sure we had everything we needed. Look, even though we are poor, we eat like kings. We do not lack for food, we always seem to have just enough to pay the bills and have food on the table. Look at how you managed to get new tires for the car. We did not have any money for that but God provided you with a temporary job to get them and other things we needed during that time. And, see, you needed a fridge and new central AC and the Lord provided. He gave it to you without paying for it. So don't think God does not take care of you. As far as troubles....well, look at what Jesus' apostles went through because of their Love for Jesus. NOW they had troubles, but instead they grew stronger and managed to bring the Fire of Love across the world. " I looked at him with my side way mouth, I have to admit that is the same I preach to all I meet. So what is my lesson for today? Don't worry...be Happy....God has His Plan all laid out for us. Yes, Rosemarie, I am learning compassion. My love for the poor, the homeless, the transients, the alcoholics, the drugged, the mentally handicapped, the aged, the abandoned, the lonely, the sick.....all and more are etched in my heart. I understand their suffering. I pray for all of them everyday. Isaac and I mention all in our prayers together.  As a matter of fact, that is why I love going to daily Mass. Because we pray for each and everyone in a very particular way. Sorry for the long note but I guess this is a reminder to myself in writing. Thank you for listening. Enjoy: Love through Christ, > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > From: <laurvick@... <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> >>>> <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> > >>> >> <mailto:laurvick%40charter.net> > > >>>> >> > Subject: RE: Joanne/nancy/ruth/Carol etc. > >>>> >> > To: fibromyalgiacured >>>> <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>> >> <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>>> >> > <mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com> > >>>> >> > Date: Wednesday, 27 April, 2011, 22:02 > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > > >>>> >> > Joanne - I, too, have a laptop but usually have it sitting on a >>>> desktop or > >>>> >> > table top. Guest guest
HI : I totally understand your frustrations. I like you, tell others how to do it better, but sometimes I cannot tell myself the same message. That¡¯s why we have each other. To help each other and unite. That¡¯s why you have Isaac. You can pour out your frustrations and he tells you the truth. One of the messages from Jesus I remember is that he did not come here to fight our wars, he came here to show us the Father. This is not the kingdom he wants us to conquer, the only kingdom worth supporting is the kingdom within. So I think if we can breathe, we need to spend our breath professing our love of God. I have been trying that. When we are broke, and our cars don¡¯t work, that¡¯s not their job, its our job. However, when our breath is spent worshiping God, things do tend to get better and go more our way. Its magical but not really. I think when we are grateful we see opportunities like you said Isaac pointed out to you about your A/C and fridge. Also, recently I have been thinking about when we pray for those who suffer? Why is it only the poor, the homeless etc. how come we never think the rich suffer? How come we never pray for the powerful? Its really struck me the other day. They suffer too. And if we pray for them our world would really get better because they have the power and the money to help those poor people. Anyhow, not too long? Love to you and your. rosemarie > > > > > > Beautifully said, RoseMarie, > The other day I was very upset and frustrated. Guest guest
Yes, you are correct again, my friend, It is tough living in this world. It is up to us to work our daily problems but always breathing and doing all with Faith and Love of God. I do not know how I would deal with this sickness without Him. I keep you and all in my prayers including the rich and the troubled too. You have a point there too. Guest guest
Keep up the good fight maria. As long as your inner kingdom is expanding with love towards God, this old world cannot hurt the part of you that God cares about. We all survive. We all can help each other too. Love to you rosemarie > > > > > > Yes, you are correct again, my friend, > It is tough living in this world.
