Guest guest
Joanne, Thanks for the info. Â I would be more able to do the meat and fat than the water. Subject: Re: Lovell, How I deal with my gut problems To: fibromyalgiacured Date: Friday, August 5, 2011, 9:54 PM Â Lovell Today, I have been thinking more about this ulcer thing. You perhaps recall me saying I might water fast to clear once and for all this problem with my bowel. The reason why water fasting has such an healing effect on my digestive system is that it allows all of it to rest. When resting the bacteria and other things the body uses to heal itself find it much easier to work. Bee does not recommend water fasting. She does not recommend water fasting because when folk water fast they can have very severe 'healing reactions' (symptoms), And for folk that have been poorly for a long time and who are already suffering severe reactions already, ie pain nausea, headaches etc, the increased healing activity can be too much for most people I do not suffer much at all with my healing now, and this is one reason why i can so easily tolerate the healing reactions that occur when i water fast, but for folk that are not used to this I usually say, do not bother water fasting, instead look at Bees diet more closely Now Bee actually has more than one daiet. She has a diet for healing and a diet for when folk are more well. Both are similar but the healing diet does not include all the foods on the later diet. She also has another diet, a diet that is more restrictive even than her healing diet but this might be something you would like to look at This diet is the all meat and fat diet. It allows meat fish poultry offel bone broth eggs and certain fats like coocnut oil butter olive oil and cod liver oil. Plus we need all of Bees supplements to do this. I did this for 5 weeks and then later started including certain carbs bee says are safe I am still more or less doing this. I still only eat 15g of carbs a day, sound strict I know, but by eating this way all my symptoms are very mild indeed Anyway, there is a possibility that if you did the all meat and fat diet and this cleared your ulcers, later you would be able to eat the safer carbs but maybe not so rigidly as I do. I choose to only eat 15g but most folk on bees healing diet are eating more, say around 30g to 50g. You would have to work out later what is best for you Anyway, this all meat and fat diet is very restrictive but there is one reason why i think this restrictive diet is better for folk with ulcers than the usual healing diet Bee advocates. You see, and this is just my opinion, not fat here, but what i am seeing with this h-pylori bacteria and this formation of ulcers etc, it seems to me folk are only getting h-pylori when they are eating fat and carbs at the same time The scientific studies do not really make full sense in regards to what i know about myself and what i see with other people that are getting well, but what they do seem to imply is that h-pylori only appears when we have fat and carbs together in our digestive track. If one is removed i am thinking the bacteria might pull back because then it will not be needed. we cannot cut out fat, fat is very much an essential food, without fat we definately would diet, but carbohydrate is not an essential food, the body can make its own carbohydrate from protein and fat http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods11.php I know this might sound restrictive, but it is not as restrictive as water fasting and by the way once in ketosis we do not get any hunger pangs, so it is not as hard as it sounds Like i said without any carbs there really is no need fr h-pylori and hopefully as the h-pylori pulls back the ulcers will go, this is my theory anyway. Then once they are gone you can add the safe carbs bee talks about. if your illness returns you can just pull backon the carbs until you know the best types and amounts for you. This is just a thought, but it has worked for me doing this, not only has my gut massively improved my fibro is also tremedously improved too God bless Joanne
