Guest guest
Thank you Joan. I understand everthing you are saying as it is my story too. I deleted my first response to you as it was too much for me to read what I posted--- just a bit too painful. Thank you very much for the book name. I too believe in miracles when healing happens at different levels, especially the deepest levels. I have seen improvement in my body just from this diet, so healing at deeper levels can heal deep seated illness or disease, of this I am sure. I have much hope for your situation. Everday I just do my best and ask for guidance in my efforts. " I will reason, I will Will, I will act, but guide thou my reason, will and activity to the right thing that I should do. " I was guided to this board back when, and here I am asking you about the book and you are telling me I don't understand what is happening with the gut bacteria and how it relates to your condition, but I'm sure there will be more on the board as you research and others research. On the prayer list we all go again. Prayers for everyone on here, 3 x a day for the next 3 months. Guest guest
Joanne, I have never seen a case where they don't have to take them for a good length of time a month to 2 months at least and usually if I remember what I read it's much longer if they've had it a while. I also saw a site where somemone listed where to buy these antibiotics and the low price. but the thing is w/out testing you need certain antibiotics I beleive to target certain bacteria. I don't know if it's legal. But I don't know it all well enough but I'm sure it's something like that you take cetain Antibiotics for certain bacteria. And I understand what you said about just skipping the testing, but I don't think that would work, but maybe Joanne, maybe. Ask Robin. I wouldn't want to put myself through the regime for nothing. But when I have taken Diflucan or whatever it's called lfor Candida, omg I suddenly feel incredible. So it may be hit and miss and some very well might have luck and get well as you said. Robin was so lucky after 25 yrs. one antibiotic knocked hers out. There's the Divine hand. Guest guest
Thank you Joanne, that was great advice. The big meeting is fine (I think, as long as I use your imagery as he is in among the 150 people), but I think I should stay out of the small step study groups that are all AA's except for me, as they are a different breed from us Alanoners. My Brit friend is here as we read this and had to tell me what taking the micky was, and boy are you right. I don't need to be around that. BTW, thank you for the post. I feel it's God talkin to me and guiding me. I can go to the big meeting which is very detailed and I have his books and do the work myself as do most people. Yes, I absolutely agree now that this set off this flare. It's been rainy and cold for a week and a half and after the mtg I'm in a severe flare and depression??? Sound suspicious to me. Thanks for letting me know what you think, it' helped me see this is not just me who gets sick from abusive people with the physical. Thank you Joanne. Love, Jean > > > > Subject: Help guys... > To: fibromyalgiacured > Date: Wednesday, 5 January, 2011, 10:02 > > > Â > > > > Joanne, > > I think I need to hear this too shall pass. It's 1:40 am and I've gone into a major fibro flare and suddenly depression too and my back neck is killing me along with top thigh ligaments. I just posted at around 11 or so I think and I was in a bit of a flare but it's hit a bit harder suddenly and mood has gone into a not good place. This is worst since Corvalen M. Maybe it will pass, I don't know what's going on. > > I wonder if it's connected, the fibro flare and the mood dip. I am not feeling well. I keep 5-HTP on hand for real emergecy when I feel so down I feel sick to my stomach. This feels like a bad flare with a chemical depression. I know fibro affects neurotransmitters. > > Joanne I have no idea what's going on. I was at a mtg for 12 step study and it is a mixed mtg of all 12 step programs, overeaters, debtors, etc. > > Anyway for about a month or more I was in a 12 step study " group " of about 6 to help each other with the steps. They are all AA's except me, and great except for one guy who got very abusive a couple weeks ago when the other men weren't there and it's his house. I was very stressed at the mtg tonight though there are 150 or so people because he was such a bully, with the AA rage and abusiveness of the AA rageaholic. > > I don't know if this could cause a flare, but I felt deep anger tonight at the big mtg as he is there, because the weekend he did that it was just him and me and another woman with no voice, very much a " no voice " woman. He only got abusive because there were no men. But I feel very much anger at any abuse by some nutty AA. I felt anger at the mtg and when I got home remembering how I was helpless as he is this tall man and I am a petite woman. > > Anyway I felt bad when I got home from the mtg wonderng if I should be in a huge step study led by an AA (long time Alanons have asked me why I would put myself in that position) but all the others seemed fine, and I've met many AA's who are lovely). > > I don't know if this historical abuse set this off. I can't beleive I felt so bad I just took some 5-HTP just about 1/5 of a capsule. It doesn't sit great with me but can pull me out of a severe mood dip. > > I don't know what's hitting, neck is so stiff and shoulder and going down back. > > Feeling very bad and need a little support here. > > Jean > > > > > > > > > > > >
