So that is not Lupus specific. Thus a trigger point in time or event. Fibromylagia can include many things and still being researched. I just cut and pasted medical articles and also what my fibromylgia journey that happened twenty years ago after a series of medical events, thus my trigger point in life. Wikapedia included all the current hypothesis on why it occurs and it worth reading for anyone with fibromylagia. So, what I mentioned were articles and I encourage everyone to research for themselves as we are all different and react different. My photosensitivity is from my auto -immune disorder and my fibro co-exists with it. I actually have come to be able to define the differences and am treated with different medications for both. So the Triigger points are events, I really know the different and you are right about trigger points but trigger points is a expression used for many things, trigger points are not constrained to myofascial pain but to the event or the thing that causes something to occur. Just wanted to clarify for you, what I meant. I know the difference and like I say everyone is different. You could also be checked for an auto -immune disorder if you continue to have problems. Photosensitivity occurs with many disorders and diseases to include migraines for an example. So, I am not in disagreement, I referenced research, there is a lot out there. Different people have different symptoms of fibromyeligia and I have learned my sleep cycle effects the triggering of my fibro pain. If I go without REM sleep it triggers a fibro flare. So, that is not a myofasicial fibro flare but a trigger point event that causes my fibro flare. I am lucky in that I try to keep my immune system up, nutrition up, stress down, fibro meds at hand for a flare. Bennie
