Guest guest
>>Mr Batten claims that when our spine is not correctly aligned signals to our gut become incorrect and also blood flow to the brain can be affected My personal experience -- when C1 is out of alignment, fuzzy brain. When T1 is out - nasty headache. There's a spot in the middle of my back that, when out, causes intense nausea and gut pain. Various other problem spots can cause tingling fingers, numbness in my leg, hip pain, etc. Why do I have spinal issues? Some rough falls from horseback when I was young. A couple of car accidents and probably whiplash, untreated. A fall on stairs in my late 30s that wrenched my neck and shoulder. A bad fall off a high ladder in my 40s that wrenched and bruised too much to list but fortunately broke no bones. (And yes, I'm very aware of my good fortune.) Add surgery to correct long-standing issues from child-bearing and the resultant decline in core strength . . . It's life - you do a lot, stuff happens. Guest guest
Joanne, I think chiropractors are wonderful. I go occasionally but not as often as I should. Â At one time I was doing therapy for my neck because it didn't have a curvature to it. I know my neck and shoulders do feel better if I will take the time to lay down on the bed and let from about my shoulder blades up hang off the bed with my hands touching the floor. Â I usually do this about 2 or 3 minutes, sit up and do another 2 or 3 minutes. Â If you have neck and shoulder problems you might want to try this.If I start having headaches or backaches I go to the chiropractor and he fixes me right up. Guest guest
I have an inversion table that has helped me immensely with my neck and back. As I get older I noticed that I can't be turned upside down as often. But then again, I don't get on it like I use to. Just occasionally.  Oh, and I did get an inch back to my height. ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Monday, August 29, 2011 10:06 AM Subject: Re: Lovell: More on the spine and fibro  Joanne, I think chiropractors are wonderful. Â I just need to take more time to do the things that help me.
