Guest guest
Jeanette I have added a few links here that will make all this easier to follow. Like I said, this computer keeps over heating and I am looking after my dog and I can only get online for a short time but by next week I am hoping to have all this put together better. Hope this helps To heal yourself, the only three sites you really need are 'Fibromyalgiacured' (that is this group), 'Healing Naturally By Bee' and the Candida support forum below http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/fibromyalgiacured/ http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport/ These are the foods that are safest for us http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php And these are the supplements I take, I take these and no others. These supplements are usually safe for most people but if you have doubts or you are on medication you should check with your doctor regarding possible interactions http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp7.php This is the calculator I use to work out how much fat, protein and carbs I am allowed. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/ratios/ratio.php I use the diet ketogenically which means I do eat the same amount of fat and protein indicated with the calculator above but I only eat 15g of carbs. If you want to do the diet ketogenically it might be worth looking at Bees all meat and fat diet and then slowly adding good carbs from the candida diet above. Here is some information on Bees All meat and fat diet http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/meat5.php Myself i am fine with the meat and fats that Bee advocates and with the meat and fat I tend to eat organic herbs and spices, low starch veg, saurkraut, and occasionally lemon juice When we become well we can add foods from Bees healthy eating program. This is where I am now and now I can have a small amount of unpastuirsed cheese, sprouted seeds and correctly prepared nuts, but you will learn more about this as you do the diet Different people on Bees diet do have some different needs and if you join her support group Bee will help you with all that, but in the meantime if you are looking for the best brands to but, bee dies have a list. You do not need to buy everything on this list, but if at any time you do want to buy any of the products this list contains some very good quality brands. Also there is a voucher on Bees site that will allow you between $5 and $10 discount at iherb http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php A gray sea salt similar to the one bee promotes is available cheaper at Salt Works http://www.saltworks.us/shop/product.asp?idProduct=264 Swanson's and Amazon are selling coconut oil at cheaper prices http://www.swansonvitamins.com/q?kw=coconut+oil & x=55 & y=9 http://www.amazon.com/Nutiva-Organic-Virgin-Coconut-15-Ounce/dp/B001EO5Q64/ref=s\ r_1_2?ie=UTF8 & qid=1344979894 & sr=8-2 & keywords=coconut+oil Vitacost are particularly good for things like organic herbs and spices, plus many of the supplements we use, and if you know somebody that is already a member there, if you ask them to recommend you you and they will both recieve a voucher via your email that will give you each $10 off your order http://www.vitacost.com/Referee For foods and groups in your area you can look up your local Weston Price Chapter at this site http://www.westonaprice.org/ This diet below is like bees but we cannot eat the nuts and the fruit until we are well Another good resource is the GAPS book and site, but you do not need to buy these to do Bees diet. All of Bees information is free, but if you look up information relating to the GAPS diet it may help you understand Bees diet better and why it works. Here is a link below relating to the GAPS diet. We can eat most of the foods on that diet but not all the fruits, dairy and nuts, we do have to wait until we are well before introducing most of these foods but Bee does explain why this is so on her site Earlier I mentioned that I do the diet ketogenically. You yourself will need to decide if you do want to do the diet ketogenically and this part of the diet does require some study of the literature and evidence, but here below is a list of some of the links that have influenced me http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/healthscience/2012/January/Coconut-Oil-Touted-as-Alzh\ eimers-Remedy/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet Although I think all the diets above a brilliant, I do not think any of them are as good as Bees diet because Bees diet is all natural an foods are selected in regards to sound research, which you will see over time, and her supplement list is very very good too If ou want a film you can sit and watch on your TV that will help you understand many many things that are going on with us and also why no treatment is being found then this film below that Meryl Streep is promoting is available at Amazon and Ebay . I think this film is brilliant and after watching it I became 100% commited to the diet http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=first+do+no+harm & view=detail & mid=DF76C8C7F27\ 9FE3C75F5DF76C8C7F279FE3C75F5 & first=121 & adlt=strict So why is a diet used for epilepsy good for people that have fibromyalia? This is not easy to explain, but in a sentence, I would say at least in part, it is the same reason as to why epilepsy meds work for fibro generally. These doctors below shed some light on this. I do agree with there findings but I do not agree with their treatments, their treatments are drug based and we do not need drugs to get well http://www.drdryland.com/pilot.asp Jeanette said..... I would ask you to send me the foods that help relive the seemngly un stopable pain I like the herbal spray but as best it keeps the down I am taking savella it helps a little but have no other soothing PLEASE SEND ME THE BEE DIET IN TERMS OF FOODS i WILL DO WHAT EVER YOU FIND HELPS REDUCE- the Peee
