Guest guest
, Did they do an actual culture or swab the nose to find out you had staph? I'm concerned my Dr. didn't do anything to diagnose me. Caitlin Mine turned out to be staph, so it's good to get it checked. Swabbing the antimicrobal ointment wasn't too bad, and it was gone in 5 or 6 days. Good luck! in Oregon
Guest guest
The walk-in clinic did a nose swab. I guess they watch it grow, figure out what it is and then see what will best kill the bacteria. It is kinda scary...thinking you may have a flesh eating bacteria on your skin is not fun! Take care, Caitlin Yes, he did and called me himself. It was MRSA--which totally creeped me out.
Guest guest
I had MRSA and it nearly killed me. I lost 70 pounds which was 30 pounds too much for me. I don't understand about needing to tell people now that I had MRSA. Do you always carry it after having had it? I was never told anything about getting a private room if I needed to be hospitalized. > > >>>I have been diagnosed with MRSA, you really need to take care of > yourself.
