Guest guest
Hi Tina, I started gradually on Bee's diet. I was not on a lot of sugar or wheat before that, so it may have been easier for me. I mostly had diarrhea, once in a while a mild headache, or just start coughing up mucus. There were times though, I felt more tired, and I figured it was just my body needing more rest, or getting used to running on fat. I managed to work part time and do my house work, and do some extra income making sales, but still had only myself at home to take care of. I can understand if you have a kid to take care of. My energy level eventually got better overall. Was your friend on Bee's diet? Her diet is different anyway from other candida fight groups. She does not try to kill off the candida, just help our immune system to take care of the problem. The only anti-fungal we take is coconut oil, and that is for its other benefits. The diet took away a lot of my pain. C. > > Thankyou for your reply.I was once on Bee`s group. My friend has tried treating candida before. The big problem, you get so sick from the die off,and she has to special needs kids to take care of,that she has been unable to go through it for any leangth of time.Same with me,I have a special needs child and a 5 year old.Very hard to be that sick and be able to function. She is interested in the dopamine thing, mentioned in the book The Fibromyalia cure. Her dad has Parkinson`s and she said, that has to do with dopamine or something as well.Tina >
Guest guest
Thankyou for the info.My mom did have kidney stones.I have not had stones,I don`t think.I have been taking supplemnts for many years now,so i think they help.I have been on the Eat For Your Blood type diet for about 6 weeks.I have lost some weight.I want to try oil pulling.Has anyone ever tried a rife machine for fibro that you know of?My brother in law recently bought one.I`m thinking of buying one.Thankyou again.I told my friend about your diet and your dad having parkinson`s.She doesn`t know how to do email.I have offered to show her,but she lives in another town, and doesn`t get out much, and neither do I.We both have special needs kids. Her husband is suppossed to be teaching her,but has been in Georgia due to a job,but will be moving back here.I thought I would give you 2 each others email,if she ever gets on board with the internet. Re: Re: Tina Tina Sorry it is taking me so long to post. So much still going on here. I dont want to get into all that right now, but as I find stuff I will post it when I can Yesterday my dad asked me about the safety of the ketogenic diet and mainly the concern with kidney stones. I still do not fully know what the answer is regarding this. I have heard that some folk do develop kidney stones, but not, I think kidney failure, and as far as I know more doctors dealing with the normal ketogenic diet are providing supplements and plenty of water etc, which I believe have brought this problem right down when I spoke to my dad I told him, the ketogenic diet is the only natual cure i know fo parkinsons, and the best cure i know for fibro, so fo us two at least the risk of kidney stones is worth it because kidney stones are treatable, Parkinsons and fibro are not. However, we have not had any kidney failure in our family. I know you have, and it is hard for me to say if this diet would be safe fo you or your child, but I do think Bee will know and the doctors on the Atkins diet will know Anyway, whilst surfing the net to help my dad I fould this. I believe this article reflects the current thinking on the diet If i get time i will post more but there is quit a bit on the previous blogs on the fibromyalgiacured site Anyway, here is the latest info I have. http://www.hopkinschildrens.org/high-fat-ketogenic-diet-to-control-seizures-is-s\ afe-over-long-term.aspx Love Joanne
