Guest guest
Robin, To be honest if not for my wife a {Registered Nurse} I would be a homeless Veteran. When I was medically discharged from the military in 2004 I was given only very little disability payments which amounted to 20% or about $ 211.00 per month. The DOD {Department of Defense}low balled my injuries at that time and turned me over to the Veterans Affairs. After a 4 year battle proving my injuries and that they really did occur while in the military, Thank God I always kept all my records today I am receiving 80% or about $1600.00 per month. I am now trying to get 100 % due to my injuries and UnEmployability from them. It is a Crime the way veterans are treated once they fall into the veterans Affairs System of Care. A while back my wife fired all the doctors and care people that were suppose to be caring for me. Today I am using her insurance and civilian doctors I level of care is over the top and they truly care for me and the out come. So the answer to your question is Robin nothing at this time as far as a job making money, But I do care for my two sons and wife best I can, Cooking, Cleaning, and doing the wash. I just do what I can when I can she is very understanding and enjoys me home, because not so long ago while in the military I was gone months and years at a time, So she calls this her pay back for the years I missed.
