Guest guest
finding the sea salt, the store only carries regular sea salt, and i don't think that is what I am supposed to get Joy ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Fri, May 13, 2011 9:15:00 AM Subject: Re: Glutathione and the Heart If you have read my recent posts you will already know that there is a lot of evidence that fibro folk struggle turning glutamte into GABa and this is one reason why Ketosis works for us, because when we are in ketosis the body can turn glutamate into GABa, hense less anxiety, fearful thoughts and so on The other thing I discovered was that as well as not being able to use glutamte and turn it into GABA we struggle to utalise the glutamate to create Glutathione This all goes on in the liver and since you have trouble with your liver I am wondering if this is more of an issue for you than it is for the rest of us. Glutathione protects the heart and we need plenty of it. Certainly being in ketosis is by far the best way to help our bodies creating this but also eating grass fed meat can help since lots of the nutrients in grass fed meat are what the body uses to make glutathione Unpasturised dairy, particularly unpasturised whey protein gets the thumbs up for this too, but whey is not on Bees program and could therefore cause an imbalance that I do not know about. On Dr Mercola site he discusses how unpasturised dairy and grass fed meat, plus eggs are all good to help the body create glutathione, and remember we fibros do this much much more effectively when we eat very low carb and are in ketosis. I no longer use the whey protein, but I do have some unpaturised cheese and cream occasionally (I do not loose weight when i eat dairy, justletting you know LOL) High doses of vitamin C help with the heart in a similar way. I personally take 4000mg daily. When I was at the AS site the folk there told me they avoided flares doing this and I am thinking this may be another reason why i so very rarely have flares now As you know the diet in general is much better for the heart than any other diet but if you think you may need a touch of added glutathione you could enquire about this therapy I have never used it but I am pretty certain that good glutathione levels improves fibro I will when I get time share more about what I know about the heart but I have to go now. When you are felling better you might want to look at my last few posts here. They cover brain damage in fibro, and mention a lot of things we have talked about in the past. Mmmm, it seems the scientists are now finding out wehat we already know I am not so chufty about all this, very sad really. I did already know it but am thinking that it might be hard to unwind this kind of damage. Still we should not loose heart, certainly ketosis and low carbing is stopping a lot of it progressing and the inner child healing work is I feel helping the damaged areas cope more effectively, I think both these things help a lot with the issues relating to the brain and nervous system. Anyway I am being rushed once more. I will try to get online later Love Joanne Subject: gee willikers To: " fibro " <fibromyalgiacured > Date: Friday, 13 May, 2011, 1:48 Last time I wrote there were so many plans in my agenda. Wellll, I had to put them on park for this week. I felt a bout coming on but I fought it as much as possible. Wow, did it take me for a loop. I layed down for hours for the past four days and still resting. Felt my heart was going to stop beating, lots of traveling pain, could hardly breath. I experience this maybe 3x a year, but each is worse than the last. I am finally walking a bit. I get so worn down from lack of oxygen I almost pass out. This happened on my last day of teaching religion class....that was embarrassing. I thought I could handle a two hour commitment in between the bad bout but I felt I was close to death. But HOPE keeps me going. Sometimes I feel there is just a bit of time left for me before I step into my real Home. So I try to do as much as possible, when and if possible. Yes, I keep to the diet thing, take the vitamins, vinegar, coconut oil, and all the stuff. But when the bout arrives there is no stopping it. I just surrender, sleep, and rest until I get to feeling better. What am concerned is that the fatigue affects my heart. It is as if my heart is soooo tired that it just can't beat its beat as fast as it should and will stop any minute. It slows down to the point I am breathing heard and have to have the central air extra cool. But all the doctor tells me is that it is depression, yyyyeah. I am sick of his quacky conclusions. Well, am tired..going to go rest a bit more.

RealSalt has 54 trace minerals. You might have to search for it online. We have several stores that carry it but a local store would sel it for $7.95/# and I can get it online, shipped, for less than $6/#. " Selina " something is the website... :-/
