(SI joint) I think it ironic that I had back surgery, an auto wreck and when in physical therapy, I found I had a Sacroiliac joint injury that was causing my pain and not my back. I encourage everyone to get an evaluation from their physical therapists if you have a problem that has not been figured out yet if you have spinal or other problems. Physical Therapists tend to do an extensive evaluations that Doctors do not do. Physical Therapists can be an important part of your team. You need to interview you physical therapists also and ask what type of training they have had treating chronic pain patients. I have had one aggressive physical therapist that set me back (but did evaluate me correctly) but now have one trained in myofascial release which helps with my muscle cramping and myofascial pain. The Si joint injection cause me more pain but years ago the first one helped but after that the injections caused more scarring and adhesive arachnoiditis so I refuse to have any more and my doctors now agree. Rich, I hope you continue to get better and I am so glad you are better. Bennie
