Guest guest
Even though I'm entitled to all VA benefits. I have never used one of their doctors or hospitals, I'm going to stick to my private insurance as long as I can. I keep reading where they have spent billions to get the VA hospitals upgraded and fixed. But I sure haven't seen any of that at the VA around here. ron patterson ronpat0471@... > Yes Tammy My doctor understands and is willing to go the extra 9 yards because the VA {Veterans Affairs} has hurt me in ways the pain will never go. They broke the story on the top officials of the veterans Affairs getting millions of dollars in year end bonus last year. While veterans were using sub standard medical care at best from its hospitals that are currently 20 years behind in there up keeping. I am so grateful you have a choice in the type of care you receive I am also given the opportunity to use outside care because of my wife's insurance. Without her insurance I would had been stuck with sub standard care and doctors who did not care of my treatment and outcome. I hated there excuse very time that its not there fault there over worked and under staffed. I went to an appointment with my wife who is an {RN} when the doctor said that to us, and that i couldn't get the the treatment I needed because of the cost. My wife went nuts on the whole staff on the way out the door telling them all on the way out " You Flipping People are Fired and he is never coming back here again " From that point on I have had only the BEST of care with people who really care about me. But on that note I really think they do have to care that much because I am paying for there service, Where as is using the Veterans Affairs Hospitals I didn't have to pay because I am rated at 80 percent disabled. Again Ron I totally understand what you meant and said. Rob Retired Military New york
