Hi,

I already responded with a lot of information but you can write me privately and

I can answer your questions. I live in California. My doctor writes my MM

prescritions for me every 6 months so that I may get into one of the best clubs

in Berkeley, where I can get my medicine, and also take advantage of free

services such as massage, acupunture, chiro, yoga, etc.

The community is amazing. There are definite do's and don't's when it comes to

the MM rules - such as it's safer and more recommended that you have your

regular doctor write your prescription instead of paying a random doctor $150+

to diagnose your need for MM and give you the official card.

What state are you in? Your state should have a website up that lays out all of

the rules and laws that you need to know about.

Most of the programs are essentially the same, but each state has their own laws

and rules, which can be very different from another state.

So feel free to ask other questions or email me privately. I don't know how many

other people on this list are interested.

Whitney,

I'm not an MM patient, but noticed you're coming to my home town.

Have you been in Portland previously, or is this your first visit?

I'm an Oregon " Lifer " , with most of my years spent in P-town (as my

son who's moved to a rural college town calls it now).

I don't know anything about Portland's MM community, but look forward

to hearing about your experience, if you're willing to share it.

MODERATOR'S NOTE: , MM means medical marijuana. Everyone, please do not use

abbreviations or acronyms unless you explain them in your post! Not everyone

understands them. Cheryl

Hm, MM, plain or peanut? What Is MM?
