Guest guest Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 Hi, Just I had the flu also for the christmas holidays.. the same thing happened to me, I called my doctor and said if I didnt feel better by the weekend to go in. By that monday I got better... I als have fibro and my immune system is so weak...... I hope things do get better foryou, but sometmes it can get u down..... Ill keep you in my prayers...  Shirl Subject: The flu To: fibromyalgiacured Date: Tuesday, January 4, 2011, 10:41 AM  Happy New Year.. I have been sick with the flu since last Thursday(12/30). I missed my family Christmas and everything. I have had a fever, headache and have been very weak. I tried to go to work yesterday and came back home after 1 1/2 hours. I thought I was feeling better. I felt awful by the time I got home and was very weak and laid in bed all afternoon. My temp is 98 to 99. But my normal temp is 96.5 or so. My question is: has anyone had the flu yet this season, and if so, did it last this long for you? I know it lasts longer for us since our immune systems are not that great.
