Guest guest
I've been doing pretty well, not much carbs, there was one night I had two cheese jalapeno rolls, don't know why, but I've done better these past two days...just one thing though. I'm not really eating much at all. Like once or twice a day. Don't know what to eat or cook or prepare. I'm taking 400mg of mega magnesium and vitamin c. Haven't been able to get any others yet. I'm basically eating boiled eggs bell peppers and leafy greens with coconut oil and braggs amino acids sprayed on. Any suggestions? Am I doing anything wrong? Keep telling myself we eat to live not live to eat! Guest guest
Hi - I just want to pop in here again to say, with regards to what is going on with fibro, my fibromyalgia of 25 years turned out to be due to a bacterial disease I had acquired from a known tick bite in my foot. It transmitted a borrelial bacteria, which is a spiral-shaped bacteria that goes into the brain and spinal cord within 12 hours and inflames those, systemwide, every system of ours inflamed, then corkscrews into our tissues anywhere and causes inflammation. So we're a mess inside, biochemically - all normal biochem gets altered. The name of the illness is Lyme disease, since people in Lyme CT reported it in the '70s. Testing is not perfect - I tested positive, but not everyone does who has it . So it's treated clinically, by history and symptoms. Anyone can google the symptoms for Lyme disease and see whether we think we might match them. The bacteria can be transmitted by ticks we never saw, by other bug bites, and by humans, via fluids and tissues, and that means via congenitally and breastfeeding too. We have a Lyme film out now on Netflix which anyone can watch, called " Under Our Skin. " Many people interviewed in it said they presented with fibromyalgia. There are also many other diagnoses that people get on the way to finding out about Lyme. I am still on oral clindamycin antibiotics, 150mg daily, and because I take that, I have NO fibro pain, and greatly reduced joint swelling. Everyone of us is different and responds to different antibiotics if we have this. I also take other anti-inflammatory supplements to help reduce the inflammatory symptoms. I am also currently successfully detoxing by sweating on a FIR (far infrared heat) biomat, which is reducing my severe chemical sensitivity finally, as my liver has been overwhelmed by the inflammation and hasn't been able to handle chemicals. So little by little, improvement. I'm 30 years with it now. Thx - Robin : What is going on in fibro For me these two studies show best what is going on in fibro for this first one try to listen to the radio blog at the bottom of the page. i agree very much with this theory but i tried the cure and it did not work for me, Bees diet has been a lot more effective http://www.drdryland.com/ I do not know why bees diet works better, i assume it is the ketosis. ketosis improves brain and nervous system function mainly, it is said because it increases a neuron that is good at managing dopamine and other neurons, this neuron is called GABA and when i get time i will share more on this subject The guy in the study below is into giving folk lots and lots of medication. well if you can ignore that bit (we do not need the meds bees diet, especially the ketogenic diet can sort all this out) you do need to have watched the video above to understand what i am about to say but basically the doctor is saying we have high glutamate which encourages high substance p. at the same time we have low dopamine low seratonin and low noradrenalin well from what i understand about ketosis, ketosis creates gaba out of glutamate so this lowers the glutamte, when glutamte is low sustance p is always low.
