Hi Jane, 

My nephew is disabled and he was living with his parents too.  Once he decided

to move out he moved into one of those assisted living facilities. 

His rent is based on his disability check.  He loves having his independence but

there is still help there if he needs it. He lives in an adorable little

apartment and he is happier than I've ever seen him.

Check into this and see if there are some close to you.
