Adding a note on needs

When I was young and first married, I used to wonder if the Senior citizens had

the enjoyment of sex. Of course, I did not talk of that with my wonderful

Mother as that was something that was taboo to talk about. As time went on and

I was becoming a Senior citizen, my thoughts were getting answered. The point

being is that most of you are no doubt much younger than my husband and I are

and I wonder if any of you have ever had those thoughts in your mind. Thoughts

like " how long do we have that enjoyment " .

Now all of us that have joined this group have pain from whatever and I think it

is wonderful that you are open about your lives with pain and how to enjoy your

needs.

Now I will tell my age and let you know that we still enjoy our needs but

because of pain and the meds, I admit we have slowed down. My husband and I

have been married for 56 years, soon to be 57 on Jan. 3rd. We are 74. We are

both in pain but besides the actual total fulfilment, we enjoy telling each

other several times a day that we love each other and a kiss as we pass in the

kitchen or whatever room we happen to be in.

This is long and I apologize for that but I am opening up a new subject and

wonder if anyone is even interested in that part of your life when you get to

it. If not, then just say what you think about what I wrote.
