I have been taking it very easy since I have been home. I haven't

even been online for a few days just so I can rest. I have had my

Mom, Step-Mother-In-Law, and one of my daughters to help me out so that I don't

feel like I have to do everything for myself.

I am able to do my physical therapy while lying down in my bed or on

the couch. The physical therapists don't want me to feel like I have

to get up and walk a certain amount at this time.

They are making sure that my RSD doesn't flare up. As a matter of fact, I had

all of the fluid that was causing edema in my right lower leg, ankle, & foot

reabsorb into my body during surgery!

My orthopedist, his PA, and I were all so happy to see that happen since I have

had a terrible time with edema for over a year.

I have a follow-up appointment with my orthopedist on Monday

afternoon and I already know he is going to be excited at how well I am doing.

I am working on getting my muscles to communicate with my brain so that my knee

won't buckle on me. I am able to put the majority of my weight on the knee

without any pain.
