Guest guest
I have written again to both Curezone and Yahoo about this. I don’t know what else I can do. Joanne has been very patient with trying to help me become a moderator, but nothing that we have tried has worked. I’m not really sure how this group is set up, but I have no problem with adding or removing moderators on the other groups I moderate. I’m sorry I haven’t been more helpful. Meanwhile, if there is anyone that has any questions or suggestions, or if any of the others who are listed as moderators can add me, I’ll be happy to help out in any way I can. Thank you, Judy H From: ZaZa Sent: Friday, November 04, 2011 11:00 AM To: fibromyalgiacured Subject: Re: Zaza: I am still getting messages from Yahoo re Moderation there are like 5 people showing as moderators.. I wish I could sort out how to add Judy or someone who has voluteered to help and sort it as I can't figure it out I think the extent of moderator privileges differs according to how the group is set up. If you're a group owner, you can add and remove moderators and have complete control of the group. As strictly a moderator, I can change members' status to moderator and back in some groups, but not in others. ly, if the group owner is deceased, and no new group owner has been appointed officially (blue crown on the 'my groups' list at Yahoo Groups) then the group remains at the mercy of Yahoo for key management issues. The options seem to be putting up with it or forming a new group and inviting members to migrate to that one. That's been done effectively in other very busy groups I belong to, and the archives and files remain active at the old site and generally are gradually copied into the new site.
