I used to be part of another online pain group a couple of years ago but I think it shut down. I'm , age 30 and live in Newcastle, north england. I've had severe migraines from age 4. ME from age 20 that left me bedridden for a few years in excruciating agony 24/7 unable to move, speak, eat, wash, I died during the second year of being bedridden, it was the only good thing that happened to me during that time even if it did only last for a minute. I'm now 30 and waiting for open heart surgery. I was made homeless by my parents in January 2008 who neglected me, I stayed with friends for 6 months while trying to find somewhere to live. I now live alone. I'm housebound 80% of the time, often bedridden though its not a permanent thing anymore. Sometimes I get out using my walking stick to the shops but I live in the centre of town so everything is on my doorstep now including the pharmacy and doctors Dealing with my illness is so much easier now I'm away from my parents who only ever made my life worse and more difficult. Dealing with agony on a daily basis is enough to deal with without family members treating you like scum because of being ill.
