Hi joanne...everyone. I know I haven't been very talkative lately. Been a bit

overwhelmed with life right now and trying to take in all the advice from this

site. I'm also in the process of try ing to move from los angeles

to san diego. I haven't been happy where we are living for quite sometime . So

I have been real busy looking up listings that would fit our family perfectly.

Anyhow, I have read everything you have posted for me and I do want to thank you

so very much. You have been so amazingly generous with giving your time to send

me all this information to get me started and on my way. All of you are so

fabulous. I appreciate all you have offered.

Hopefully this funk will pass soon. I went off the diet until I know exactly

what I am doused to do....the coconut oil, sea salt, supplements, etc.

Need to write everything down and have some sort of strategy, which I have no

idea how to do anymore, Lol.

So I am still here :)

: Foods

As you know my angle is mainly ketosis and I do not know as much about Bees

normal diet, but there are others here that know more than me about all that,

plus folk on Bees forum too

In my case 75% to 80% of my food is fat and for this reason this is where my

focus is when i am shopping. I try to buy the best fats i can. coconut oil is

the most important, and i eat plenty of this so when i buy it i look for quality

at a low price, ie virgin coconut oil at a low price and the internet is usually

the cheapest place for me to buy it

The other oil I can get in a virgin state and at a reasonable price is the olive

oil. i buy this at my local supermarket and can even get this organic some

times. If i cannot find an organic version i buy a normal version buy always

virgin

I eat butter daily and i know RAW milk butter is the best, but sadly I cannot

find it anywhere at a price that i can afford. As i continue looking I follow

Sally Fallons advice (sally fallon belongs to the weaston price foundation) and

i ensure the botter i buy is from free range cows, here in England this is

Anchor and Kerry Gold. I usually buy the unsalted version and add my own salt,

sea salt

Ghee, i have treid Ghee a few times but i do not particularly like the taste.

somebody has showed me a site where they do organic ghee at a reasonable price.

i am trying to find out if it is made from pasturised milk. If it is not and the

milk used is raw, from grass fed
