Hi everyone.

, yuor friend sounds like she needs some serious verbal exchanges with a

higher authority than the schmuck she has been dealing with.

Sue, you probably do have Lupus on top of everything else. Although it helps

the dr determine its existence in a person, a pos ANA is not required to make

a finding of Lupus. In fact, recent studies have shown that even in a high

flare, many patients blood work comes back within normal ranges.

I am really sorry you are going through so much horrible stuff. I wish we

could do more for you.

I myself decided I had suffered enough these last few days and presistently

called my Rhuemy for relief. He didn't call me back, so I went barging into

his office and demanded he see me. (I really don't like having to be pushy,

but I am in pain)

So, he ended up giving me Vioxx instead of the crappy Relafan, and a 120 mg

shot of depromedral. It is supposed to help by Friday. (will last a week or

probably less) BUt the goal is of course, to be able to play in my game

Friday night. Its against the team in third place who actually beat the 2nd

place team and I think they are pretty good and my team will definately be

needing my 3's! I know, I shouldn't, but if I don't do anything else for the

next two days and I take the meds regularly and I sleep for a change, I may

be able to last at least the first half of the game. (Here's hoping anyway!)

I have worked from home in the morning and driven in to the office in the

afternoon. Not such a great idea. Tomorrow, only working from 2 to 6. in the

office, then I have a class at 7. Wil last as long as I last. Then bed.

Friday, bed all day until game time. That's the plan. Wish me luck.

The " claw " thing is becoming quite a nuisance. Happens every day now.

Especially when I write for more than a couple of sentences.

Now, it hurts again. and I feel the claw coming on. Time to go.

Hope you are all having a pain free day!

Deneen
