Guest guest
Yes, the pot you refer to is called netti pot(I think spelling is correct) but Dr. Oz said to use this regularly for overall health nothing about sinus problems. Am just passing through will deal with your messages a little later. ________________________________ To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Saturday, September 3, 2011 1:15 PM Subject: Re: : Sinus Problems  Hi  I had not heard of this remedy for Sinus problems before but I took notice because a few members of my family do get sinus trouble.  Anyway today whilst on the Market I was talking to this Indian guy that i know and he told me that the salt and ghee thing is something they do in their culture. he told me a fair bit, all about these herbs and stuff you can also used, but to be honest it all gets a bit too much for me so I usually only end up remembering the basics when he tells me all this stuff  Anyway,, whilst he was joyfully warbling he told me that there is a pot that can be used with the salt. I have no idea how helpful this is but I thought I would mention it here just incase you or anybody else here is thinking about using the salt  There is one on this page  http://www.ayurvedicbazaar.com/neti_pot.php  If you ask me this Ayurveda medicine is the way forward, loads of it is really good, just takes some getting my head around  Anyway I will leave it with you, you never know this could be a good idea.  Oh yes I ahve just remembered, I used to inhale salt when I had bronchitis, the devise was a bit different, mainly designed to make the salt dusty. It did help  Anyway I have to go, my family are still pestering me to go to this flipping party LOL  Love Joanne To: fibro <fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Friday, 2 September 2011, 22:44 Subject: More from Dr. Oz  Okay, Friends, While am doing lesson plans by computer, am listening to Dr. Oz again. New tip: 1. Drink Tulsi Tea- this is supposed to be great for the immune system. He also said do not eat late, this causes aches in the morning. 2. Clean sinus system that affects overall body: Hold one side of the nostril and sniff some salt on the other. Then coat inside edge of nostril with ghee butter. Take care and God bless,
Guest guest
The neti pot has been around for years. I tried it long before I got sinus problems. Personally i did not like the sensation of putting salt water up my nose at all. It felt very uncomfortable. Those i came across who used neti pots tended to use them a good bit.interestingly they were into yoga including a yoga teacher, so it goes hand in hand with healthy exercise. Sent from Yahoo!
