But over time I found that eating meat and eggs for breakfast helped me stick to my diet better You see Atkins cereals are good, very low in carb, but the idea that we should eat cereal in the morning is not what our ancestors did. When i researched this throught the paleo sites ilearned that folk used to eat eggs and meat, or even nuts, but rarely cereal Anyway took me some time to change over, and i suspect everybody struggles with this one a bit. so I am putting forward the atkins cereal as a substitute for hugh carb cereals (but remember it contains gluten and fibro folk are not usually good with gluten, so less is definately better than more) One way i kept my carbs dwon eating cereal like this was to eat it with cream rather than milk.
