Guest guest
Thank you for this !!!!!  Joanne, I do understand why you mainly talk about the diet, but if you have time will you share more about the carb addiction  ________________________________ To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Friday, 4 November 2011, 16:32 Subject: Tahnee: How I overcame Carb addiction  Tahnee As you know I use bees diet, and for me the all meat and fat diet has been the most useful. I do now eat a small amount of low starch veg, herbs and so on but I keep my carbs below 15g In addition to using Bees stuff I also use MCKenna CDs Some folk get worried with , because he is an hypnotist and they get scared that can get in your head and make you do things that you do not want to do Hypnotists can do that and that is why it is against the law to hypnotise people using media stuff. is an hypnotist but he DOES NOT hypnotise us using his CDs Instead what has done he has studies the minds and behaviours of people that do not have eating disorders and he has looked at how they speak to themselves and think about themselves, and how this enables them to eat just the correct amount they need to eat at each meal Being on Bees diet has helped me understand which foods I want to eat. I want to eat foods that do not make me poorly. And Bee has shown me how much I need to eat of each kind of food, but so that I can achieve this and not go off on a binge I have needed to adopt the dialect of You see eating, for people that have eating difficulties, is not just about the Candida. It is a lot to do with the Candida, and the Candida is the driving force that is making us eat. But, and I think you might have already clicked on to this, Candida is a pathogen, but it is not an independent pathogen, it is part of us, and candida communicates with us in amny different ways http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/03/110323140247.htm  This is why we have to loose our hate and anger towards our candida and against all the other things that are going on in our lives that trigger our binges and instead of being tense and worried about the next binge we need to learn a dialect with our bodies and ourselves that instead of encouraging binges encourages the sensible joyful eating we long for  I do not have time right now to go into all of this, but I am more than happy to talk about it for days with you. I just need to know what parts of these thigns I am sharing interest you  Here is the main McKenna CD I use. this has taught me to talk sensibly to myself and now I am my own best freind and my own coach I can stop a binge even coming on, and if by chance one starts up, I can stop it using the techniques in this book and on this CD   http://www.paulmckenna.com/product-i-can-make-you-thin-new-edition-188.aspx?rp\ id=200 & gotoid=200 You can get lots of paul mckenna stuff cheap on Amazon or Ebay. Do not be buying loads of this stuff. I just bought this one CD and since then I have managed to find other CDs in charity shops for £1. It is something you can build up over time If you are able to you might want to attend a 12 step group in your area. There is one called over eaters anonymous. I attend there occasionally and they helped me not just with my binge eating but with my PTSD too But my problems are more to do with my difficulties coping in a dysfunctional family Several members of my family have severe drug problems and others are on prescription meds to which they are addicted. I am not on drugs or even medication, but I have a tenedency to want to help these people. That is not a bad thing, but because I am such a caring person I easily get suckered in with all the drama. When I do get suckered in my behaviour changes and I begin to behave somewhat like these other folk. I get all fallorn and cannot cope and I see the world as a terribly bad place and so on. This can easily lead to me binge eating the 12 step group i attend is called Alanon, and this group is specifically for people like myself, people that are not drug addicts or alcoholics but tend to get involved with folk suffering from this sort of stuff and then end up behaving much like them. For me it was with food, and other obsessive stuff. Attending Alanon has helped me a very lot with this, and the other good thing Alanon (and all the 12 step groups) are free Last but not least I have developed a very close and productive spiritual life. And this has in the main has been because of the help I get from the folk here at this site. This is something that evolves and cannot easily be explained. But if you stick around here for a while it will begin to make more sense I hope at least some of this is helpful Love Joanne
