Guest guest
- I have been reading new (to me) articles on Bee's site today on healing. I like the first one I read. It states that we have to have a new way of thinking. When we start eliminating 'bad stuff' for our bodies (whether by eliminating certain foods or certain situations, etc) and giving our body the good fuel it needs, then it starts healing. And healing doesn't always feel good. Sometimes healing can feel like a headache. Or it can be diarrhea. But if we know we are giving our body what it needs (no better place to find out than Bee's site), then the symptoms we are experiencing is detox/healing and we have to allow that to continue. I was telling my girls about ripping off a bandaid. You can do it slowly or you can do it quickly. But the bandaid has to come off. And under normal situations, taking medications will cover a symptom but not necessarily heal the cause. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal1.php To your health Re: Low carb'high fat diet Colitis wow, ok, that is real close to what I am attempting. my blood pressure has been sky rocketing, with my recent trips to the ER and today my doctor prescribed a blood pressure medication, a side effect of it is that is makes me a little constipated which is good because when i flare i have the opposite problem....i have a great dr. who found a cork for me to take. lol Joy
Guest guest
my first morning after taking the pill, i didn't want to get up. I usually get up when I wake up, but the alarm woke me. so we'll see how the rest of the day goes, dr's love to tell you it takes time for it to get in your system. but we'll see. thanks Joanne Joy ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Tue, April 26, 2011 1:39:25 AM Subject: Re: Low carb'high fat diet Colitis It will be great if your blood pressure tablets work but a lot of folk have side effects from them, the main one being fatigue. But do not worry too much if this happens to you. The main cause of high blood pressure is high fructose in the diet and this diet encourages us to cut back on fructose. In fact I only eat one fruit now and that is lemon, my blood pressure is perfect. The other members of my family that did have blood pressure problems cut right back on their fruit and now only have lemon juce or a few berries. All of them now also have stable blood pressure and do not need medication. As for the diarhea. For 20 years I had that every single day. the diet cleared this up very very quickly for me. Why it cleared it up so quickly I do not know. I think what it is with me and my bowel problems is that I cannot hold starch in my small intestine. Probably I would say because i have too many starch munching bacteria in there and it all gets too much. Now I do not eat starch I never have diarhea, and my stools are perfectly formed. I also avoid fibre, I have a little obviously in the veg I eat but not a lot. Instead I use the magnesium and the coconut oil every day. This ensures I do not go the other way and get all constipated LOL Eeeeeeee, its a hard life , but I am so glad I can tell you, I really do not have any problems with blood pressure or diarhea, or constipation any more Subject: Re: Low carb'high fat diet Colitis To: fibromyalgiacured Date: Tuesday, 26 April, 2011, 0:14 wow, ok, that is real close to what I am attempting. my blood pressure has been sky rocketing, with my recent trips to the ER and today my doctor prescribed a blood pressure medication, a side effect of it is that is makes me a little constipated which is good because when i flare i have the opposite problem....i have a great dr. who found a cork for me to take. lol Joy ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Mon, April 25, 2011 5:55:35 PM Subject: Low carb'high fat diet Colitis I am not sure if I have already sent you this but just in case I did not, here is a very good article http://www.second-opinions.co.uk/crohns.html Barry Groves is a great guy, he works with the Weston Price Foundation and is keep to expose the many lies we have been told about how eating sugary and starchy carbs can be good for us and how unnatural vegetable oil do not harm us Barry Groves himself follows a high fat diet and as you will see if you examin his site his research is showing that many conditions, including Colitis, Arthrtis, Neurapathy etc can all be treated using good foods with a high fat diet that includes coconut oil, butter, olive oil and Codliver oil When i get time I will post more but now I must go to bed.
