Hello

I am new to this group and do not yet fully understand what goes on here but I

have been reading through your previous posts and it seems some of you are

saying Fibromyalgia is caused by antibiotics. I am asking if this is true

because I have been on many antibiotics, not for Fibromyalgia, but for Ulcers

and H-pylori. The Ulcers and the H-pylori have not cleared up and more recently

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. What I am trying to work out is, is it

the H-pylori causing the Fibromyalgia, is it the antibiotics causing it, or are

none of these things related?

Thank you so much for your time

HI :

So your situation sounds similar to mine. I have had gut issues since I was

8 years old. After that the fibro started. But back then they called it

rheumatism. My mum would tell me I looked like an old lady. LOL I agreed

with her. But then I had good days too. Always exercise helped keep me

going. I have never been able to go without exercise. If I do I stiffen

right up again.

When I begin to eat grains again, I will eat gluten free. But I hope to not

ever eat them again. I think. Because I too keep my carbs very very low.

Grains up the carbs tremendously and I gain weight like a balloon being

pumped up. So so easy for me to gain 5 pounds. If I eat carbs I would be

gaining about 5 pounds a month. I have done it. I¹ve been as much as 215

pounds. I am currently gaining weight again and I do not know why. I am

off carbs, and I exercise. I am seeing a nutrionist and she said its fluid

due to a bacterial infection in my gut. So I am working on that and once

again I think to myself it all begins in the gut.

Recently I have also started doing some prayer work on this with positive

affirmations because I must admit I have some really negative thinking going

on in my head about my body. I am sure that hinders my health. I was

unaware of how negative I was until recently. Wow if I get even a little

pain I tell myself oh no, here I go, I am so sure I will be so sick you just

watch this. And of course! Voila! There it is. Mind over matter. I make

myself sick to a large degree. So I am working on that now.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing .
