Guest guest
Hello ruth I will pray for your partner. Hopefully it is not the same artery and he wont have to have the bypass. Please let us know how it goes. I saw on the news yesterday on a report that doctors have tried stem cells from your own bone marrow and injected into the heart and after 4 month they saw a 40% improvement with peoples heart which is encouraging. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/HeartFailureNews/stem-cells-improve-heart-function-\ heart-failure-patients/story?id=14934467#.TsYMZLLNnXE It is great news that you have found a wonderful doctor. It is shocking how many doctors either dont provide any direction or who just prescribe pills. I take celebrex and it does help. I also take celery seed extract which also helps. When I can I eat a lot of celery. I will be thinking of you and praying for both you and your partner Ciao- Ange ________________________________ To: LUPIES Sent: Thu, November 17, 2011 10:19:36 PM Subject: awesome new doctor I shared last month when I saw my new dr for the first time. I wanted to share what happened today. First of all, he gave me a prescription of celebrex since it has helped me so much during those 2 weeks of samples. He also got me some albuterol for my asthma which has been acting up since using wood heat (our only heat source). My dr uses this computer program which has tons of various symptoms. He asks questions according to the type of symptom/body area that is affected. This program gives a number of possible disorders, gives the type of tests to use to determine exact problem. It is awesome. One person can not remember every disorder. This program can help when there are weird symptoms (like lupus and fibro) that is not easy to pinpoint. It was so awesome. Within about 10 minutes of just talking about my joints, he said he thought I had lupus in addition to my fibro. LOL. I go tomorrow for a TON of blood tests (about 10). I could not believe it. My former dr did not even catch the fibro until I brought a list from the internet with my symptoms listed also. Then it was like ....oh, didn't think of that. I guess he thought it was all in my head. Ugh. I feel so very blessed to have this dr. His appts are not the 15 min slots. He spends 30 min minimum with each patient. For certain things, he can spend up to an hour. He is also a church member so we share beliefs. He knows how I want to use natural stuff as much as possible. In fact, he tries to get his patients to use diet, supplements, etc before using medicines. I wish all drs were like this. At the end of the appt, he apologized since he set up four other appts to see me again. He said in the beginning there are often many appts until we get to the root cause of all physical issues. I told him it was ok. He was not that far from me. I also told him I felt hopeful for the first time in years that I had someone who was going to listen to me, who cared, and who would help me get better. He saw my partner also today. My partner then got into to see his cardiologist in an emergency appt. Tomorrow my partner will have another angiogram done. If it is the same artery as last time, they will probably do a bypass. If it is another artery, then they will try to stent. If you are of the mind, please pray for him. His health has been deteriorating quickly lately. Today, I lost it on the phone with my stepfather. He knew how I was feeling since he went through the same thing with my mother. maryruth
