Guest guest
Yes, it is. I’ve sent an email to the person and have put them on moderation. When this happens it usually means the person’s computer has a virus or their Yahoo account has been hacked. I always recommend that they do a complete scan of their computer and to change their Yahoo password. Of course what I’d really like to do is to string up all the hackers, but it seems they are much more sneaky than I am. I have also recently learned that Yahoo is trying out a new system that is supposed to be catching more of these type of emails. Unfortunately, so far this just means that they put more messages in the spam filters which makes it harder on moderators. And then they still don’t seem to catch the spammers. Whenever you see anything like this come through to the group, never click on any of the links. Many times that is how a virus is spread. Just delete the email and know that the moderators are being as vigilant as we can be, but hackers always seem to be a step ahead.
