It doesn't seem like anyone here really is " cured " but I feel mostly cured these days and better than ever. My immune system is WAY up (I used to get colds and the fly constantly and that is gone, my pain is way diminished, I am going to work part time, my social life is more active and I am in a good mood) I should add that I have hypermobility and myofascial pain syndrome and had restless leg syndrome. I thought I'd post what I'm doing in case any of it will help others: -I take cymbalta 50 mgs. This makes a HUGE difference in my pain and mood. IT is a life saver for me. -I see a physical therapist who does myofascial and trigger points, she does stuff to my lower body and pelvic floor. I see her infrequently. -I eat a vegan gluten free low sugar diet. I eat nothing processed. I eat a lot of vegetables, brown rice, lentils, beans etc. a very " alkalanizing " diet. I cut out all refined sugar. -I see a pilates teacher once a week for a one on one very gentle session to strengthen my core. -I swim at least a few times a week. I joined a great gym that has a saline warm pool. I swim as much as I can (I'm not that great of a swimmer but I have fun) and twice I took a water aerobics class. After swimming I go to the steam room and sauna for a while and hydrate. The heat reaaaaally helps. Doing this really changed things for me! -I take supplements daily: Fibro-response, Magnesium, Omega-3, trace minerals in my water, B vitamins under my tongue, 50,000 mgs of vitamin D a week. -I do self PT on my foam roller and miracle balls and massage myself. -I use magnesium spray on my legs before bed, this has helped my restless leg syndrome tremendously. -I have a very comfortable bed: I sleep on a memory foam mattress pad, I have a snoogle and soft sheets and a king sized heating pad. -I make my life more comfortable: I keep a space heater at work and sit on a comfortable chair... -I do things for myself like massage and acupuncture. I do things to make myself happy. I buy flowers and watched my favorite movies. I try to spend time outside in nature. I have teas with friends. I go to bed early. -I have one of those light boxes.
