I'll be interested to read your thoughts about both of the above experiences! I did start my juicing on Wednesday. It has been difficult - not physically, but from a psychological standpoint. I do recall, though, from previous experiences, that the first 3 days are generally the toughest in that regard. So I'll see how today goes. I will also be interested to see what effect the fast has had on the gallbladder cleanse I did last night. It's too early in the day to tell, I think, but I'll report in on that later. in health,
Guest guest
What do you use your VitaMix for then? I got my VitaMix in the early 80's I use it to grind wheat, juice, make soup, etc. It is my favorite. I also have a wheat grass juicer that I bought in the early 80's from the hippocrates health institute in Florida. I don't think they sell this particular one anymore. It is electric. I use it to juice cabbage, wheat grass, and any other juice that I don't want to be whole juice like the VitaMix makes. It does a great job. I carry the Green Life and Champion, but still prefer my old ones and since they are still working, I have no intention of getting a different one. Of all the juicers that I do carry, the Champion sells the best. It is the one that Dr. Anne Wigmore recommended in her books. I am able to do everything she suggests with the ones that I personally have though. ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com > Karma, > I have a VitaMix but i never used it to juice anything. I previously had a Juiceman, which was fine, and now have a Champion, which is awesome! I love it and use it practically every day. I know the Champion is a little more pricey, but well worth it, in my opinion. I used last summer's tax refund for that and a dehydrator and I think they're the best purchases I made all year. Having said that, though, I would also say that whatever type of juicer is in a person's price range I would HIGHLY recommend that you have one. It's a great way to get some good nutrients in an easy way. And the possibilities of combinations is virtually endless - great fun to experiment. in health, rachel~
