Listening to a good nutritionist

Hi everyone,

I also wanted to share something else with all of you that I heard as

I was listening to a great nutritionist. With all the talk

about " bad doctors " these days and the over medicating that's killing

more people than the actual root cause of their problems...As I

listened to this woman, she made sense. She is a doctor and a

nutritionist PHD. She said that the doctors now days are simply not

taught the things in med school that are more essential to

maintaining good health. They are taught to treat the symptoms, and

to extract whatever they feel is the cause of those symptoms. She

says we really can't blame them for not having the right answers to

our problems.

She goes on to say that " it is our responsibility to find out for

ourselves what it is we need to do to bring ourselves back to health

and to maintain it. I imagine if we allow ourselves to run to the

doctor evertime we feel unhappy, they will give us an anti-

depressant, or give our children drugs because they do not pay

attention in class or go through stage of hyper-activeness. There is

a drug for everything now days. This is really sad that we have

become so dependant on doctors and drugs now days rather than a good

healthy eating plan.

I am guilty of this. I've come to realize that I must change the way

that I've been living. I've been eating wrong, sleeping wrong, and

not getting enough exercise. It's not easy to change our

lifestyle...but when we think of what we have to go through as a

result of not keeping our bodies in shape...what's harder...being

sick all the time...keeping up with a healthy regiment that takes

more time and thought.

So ok...wish me lots of luck, and I'll continue to share what I find

with you and my thoughts about it.

Love,

Terry D.
