The digestive system isn't as shut down in a juice fast as it would be in a water fast. In other words, it has still had some work to do, albeit a limited amount, to process the juices you've been drinking. As for whether it would be a shock - all I can do is share my own experience. I did the cleanse about halfway through my juice fast and didn't have any adverse reaction to it. From what I've read about the need for the " good " fat, I'm almost inclined to incorporate olive oil or flax seed oil when I do my next juice fast. Or to satisfy some who are fussy about terminology I guess it would be more accurate to call it a juicing regimen. Just something I'm thinking about. I do know that when I do my next extended fast (and I haven't done one in about two years), I do intend to continue with the gallbladder cleanse every two weeks. How long have you been on the juice fast? Would you care to share anything about it??? in health,
