Hi Cari-

I'm betting the doctor is correct and hoping that 's problem is

relativley minor and will resolve itself. Will keep praying and make

sure you let us know how things are, OK?

Oh Fern- life just isn't giving you any breaks, is it? Good thing you

took to the doctor- that same thing happened to me a couple

years ago! I had sinus/ear infections and my daughter didn't.

Where are you at with the Prednisone now? I'm sort of where you're at

at least regardin gChristmas and shopping- I've been pretty depressed

since before Thanksgiving as well- nothing gives me pleasure and I

feel kind of, well- numb I guess. Losing my kitty is a big part of

it, but I just plain dont feel very good ever. Still seem to be

having stomach/gut difficulties---- moreso than usual. What other

different symptoms are you having lately? All I can say is- don't

fret over Christmas- shop online or let hubby do it- or just go to

one store if and when you feel up to it to see how it goes. I'm not

going t fuss at all like I usually do- we are basically just getting

a few gifts for our 4 kids only( 2 are husband's from first marriage.)

I always bake a bunch of cookies but if I dont, I dont. I can get

plenty of bakery goodies if I dont feel like it. We haven't even

thought of actual Christmas shopping yet, and I usually do all of it.

This year I really want to be more " spiritual " - and dwell on the

things that really matter. As a last resort- how about gift wrapping

some money for your kids/family, with the promise of a great

shopping " spree " AFTER Christmas? Then just getting or having someone

else picking up a few items to wrap? I'd kind of like to do that

myself- it gets harder and harder to know what to get even my kids

anymore.

vicki- are you OK? How's your infection??? Have you been working in

the barn too much??? Hope all's as well as can be with everyone---
