Elena,

Are you planning on taking the Gonal-F injections prior to the IUI of just

the Clomid? I originally was just going to take the medications and then we

would BD when the RE said too but I found out that IUI could increase our

chances by 10%. I figured if we are already spending all that money why not

go all the way and that way we don't have to worry about timing and all.

I do not have hostile CM and DH has above average sperm count so this is

originally why I had thrown this idea out. When we left our info session I

was mad at myself for not exploring IUI as a possibility when it was

mentioned. I called back a few days later and that is when it was discussed

and we agreed to do it. I go for my first scan tomorrow and will start the

shots shortly after that (3 days). I'll fill you in as we go through this

process so you will have some idea of what to expect. We will be finished

by the 17th (your appt. right?) so that way you should have something to go

into your info session with.

my dh and I are getting set to start IUI in my next cycle, I am very

nervous about the whole thing too! I don't really know much about it

though...we go for our info session on Feb 17. I'm really looking forward

to discussing all the info with you, I'm sorry that I can't be of any help

now though, good luck, Elena.
