I have been on the pill since I was 18, to help keep my menstral migraines go away and also help with my really heavy flows. So because I am on a low dose pill still today, it really helps to keep my hormones balanced. I also take DHEA everyday, which helps keep your adrenal hormones in check and this seems to help with my sex drive as well. I am on MS Contin 30 mg 2x day (extended release morphine), sometimes I take an extra 15mg on top of 30mg if needed. I also take Percocet 7.5/325mg. I don't feel 'numb' on these drugs at all. I think the only meds I ever felt numb on were over 10 years ago, when I was on Prozac and Paxil. I eventually took myself off of them because my depression was gone. The drugs were killing my sex drive, my emotions and causing really bad side effects as well. I'm on Effexxor XR, but it doesn't appear to affect anything except to keep my light depression and heavy anxiety levels at bay.
