Guest guest
Hi Joanne, I watched this and checked out his website and yes, he is very knowledgeable. I already do just about everything he says to do. I totally changed my diet, first by going gluten free and then by gradually eliminating other things. Currently I eat mostly protein with mostly raw vegetables and sometimes a raw fruit. I take lots of various supplements including Multi-vitamins, probiotics, Co-Q-10, magnesium, Vit. C & D, Iodine and essential oils. I don’t have Parkinson’s myself (that I know of), but along with Fibromyalgia I have severe Restless Legs Syndrome and am on the Parkinson’s drug Miripex (pramepexole) for that. I’m unable to function at all without it as the muscles in my body have a mind of their own. It’s interesting that once I started taking LDN for my Fibromyalgia, I also noticed that my Restless Legs has gotten slightly better. I’ve been able to cut my dose of Miripex to less than half of what I had to take before. I’m also pretty sure that I have Lyme disease. Around the same time that I started having symptoms of Fibromyalgia I was bitten on my foot by something and developed a large bull’s eye rash. I immediately went to my doctor and was treated with antibiotics, but now I’m reading that antibiotics alone might not have gotten rid of it. Recently I read about a protocol of taking Celtic Sea Salt and Vitamin C. I thought I’d try it and immediately had a strong Herx type reaction. Now I’m gradually working my way up very slowly as I continue to have the reaction most of the time I take it. The combination is supposed to make your body inhospitable to these parasites so I’ll wait and see what this does for me. As for whether these diseases are inherited, I’m not sure. I do think some people may be predisposed to some things, but then something happens in your body and it overreacts and suddenly a doctor will put a name on it. However, until they do find an actual cause for things like Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, etc., we won’t know. I just know that there is no one else in my family that has any of these diseases. We do have quite a few that have had cancer, but the majority have lived to be in their 80’s to 90’s while remaining fairly healthy. He mentions eating raw, organic and wild, and he mentions Dr Mercola too i dont know if I have mentioned this before whilst you have been here but my fibro symptoms are very much like my dads symptoms, but when i flare they include symptoms like my aunts on my mums side, both have reative arthrtis. Yet, according to the doctors i do not have reactive arthritis or parkinsons which is why they have diagnosed this parcular autoimmune illness i have as fibro
