Chili is used for stomach problems and good for heart and weight. Put red dry

pepper in gel capsules,

swallow about three...good for tummy constipation. As I have mentioned before, I

use a lot of natural

remedies. I used to be a Herbalist practitioner so got to know lots of home

remedies along the way....

gotta go...am teaching in half an hour.

This thing with spices helping us to detox, lower pain and so on, I have been

wondering if this is why my dad says he does not like spices. I have read many

times that folk who have H-pylori do not like spices. I am thinking that perhaps

it is when the healing takes place, since this is usually painful, is this why

he avoids spices?

I am not a spice lover myself, taste, I think, but I dont tend to hanker for

them. I do however, like licorice and cinamon, both of these are supposed to aid

detox and help with stabalising blood sugar too. I could try more spices. I am

not exactly against them, I just tend to eat my meal bland, I will think about

this more

Oh, yes I meant to tell you about this too, (laughing out loud). do you recall

the conversation folk here were having about chilli, is it toxic or is it

healing? I said I did not know because I do not eat it. Well a few days ago, by

chance I ended up with a smidging, and I mean a smidging in my mouth. Yep, and

even that smidging was hot, and took a while to clear, but boy oh boy what came

next answered the question, healing or toxic LOL, My fingers set on fire LOL,

Crazy crazy, crazy, wow wow wow, burning or what, all ten of them,  but you

know what as drastic as this was, and it was major draztic, I do think it was a

healing reaction.

When I have toxicity its my joints that cop for it, when it is healing its my

extemities. But anyway, healing or not, that was far too much for me and I will

not be doing that again for a long time I can tell you. But this does illustrate

that spices can help with detoxing, just have to find the right ones.

I might try ginger. I have not had ginger for a long time but last time I used

it I do think I was fine. Also, I used to eat a fair amount of garlic and have

not been doing so lately, this one might be another one worth trying

Mmm, I do think some spices might be a good idea, its cold here now in England,

feeling like winter, maybe some spices might perk things up

Love Joanne

Hi,

We have talked before about spices, herbs, and the nightshade family. Some do

say it makes them hurt more, but it could be said, it actually is getting the

toxins moving and out of the body. I tend to use organic spices. I crush

coriander seed, and use paprika, fresh ginger, fresh or organic parsley,

rosemary, and turmeric. I mix and match, about 3 at the time, according to the

meat used. I sometimes use the fresh ginger or coriander seed to make a tea. It

could be why my hands burn sometimes, but I know it is getting chemicals, and

toxins out.

Hi, years ago, a friend who was into natural remedies, put red pepper in one of

those sinus bottles ,and sniffed it to clear the sinus.

Hello ,

I use alot of spices and grow lots of herbs including ginger and lemon grass.

The grass makes great

tea... good for tummy, nerves, cleanse, and cooking lots of meal dishes.
