Guest guest
Hey everyone, Just thought I'd share my thoughts. I have CFS/Fibro, with a normal thyroid (but lower in-range T3). I could never tolerate any thyroid medicine. I have been reading about iodine and how 95% of people are deficient in iodine. The problem is that there is so much bromide (in bread, in new cars, carpet, furniture, bread) and floride - in water, toothpaste, your dentist etc. These Displace iodine! And the food we eat doesn't have enough. So I started taking iodine but am having detox symptoms, since when taking iodine, bromide, floride and chorine (oh yeah missed that one before) get detoxed and out through the urine. If interested, Dr. Brownstein wrote a book on it and has a website and a protocol for iodine. I believe pain is caused when other parts of the body are out of whack. I have been taking it for a week, and although still dont feel good when taking it, I noticed that I am less puffy in the face and less bloated then before, so I think it is helping my thyroid. Please follow through with looking into it if any of this resonates with you.
Guest guest
Here is that link, it has been posted a few times, its a little long but really covers iodine and the thyroid. We do not use any iodized salts and very little of the red sea salt so we have to supplement with kelp tabs which seem to be do the job for us. ' http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/primal-body-primal-mind-radio/id385416862 you do need itunes to listen to the radio pod, click on #8, it takes awhile to load but it really covers everything.  ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2011 2:44 PM Subject: Iodine  Hey everyone, Just thought I'd share my thoughts.
