Guest guest
Hi everyone, I don't know of any gallbladder problems, but I drink. I've been clear and upfront about that before on here. That's what's brought me here to be sure I'm not harming my gallbladder and liver and how to correct that damage as I cut back drinking and slowly quit completely (my goal). Anyway, I have found lately in the last few months I get a pain in my upper right side right under my bottom rib cage bone. It's very painful after I eat to the touch, and yet sometimes I wonder if it's just gas. I have, to be blunt... burped or farted and it has lessened or gone away almost immediately! I don't eat a high fat diet nor any heavy meals. I have hypoglycemia and eat every 2 to 3 hrs. a light meal. But the pain is pretty hard immediately after I eat, then dissapates slowly thereafter. This only also happens in the late afternoon to evening meals only, by the way which is weird. I've not done a cleanse as I cannot fast. I'm considering how to do the cleanse without fasting since I must eat every 2 hours or so. This hypo just hit me last year where I must eat constantly to keep my blood sugar up. I'm on a no sugar diet, low carb, with moderate protein. Hope someone can help me know what to do.

Dr. Mercola has an article that Vit. C and a little alcohol is actually good for your GB. I think it helps stop stone formation. And in Dr. Cabot's diet, she even says you can have a little. Guest guest
One of the jobs of bile is to emulsify fat. If you eat fats that are already emulsified, such as butter and mayonnaise (made from your oils of choice), you won't need as much bile. -Lana On 11/29/07, Siemens <mandamom2many@...> wrote: > > Ok I had my gallbladder removed years aso (about 6 to be precise) now all > the " if only I'd known " wishful thnking in the world wont bring it back so > I > am just wondering what all I should be doing about that.
