Guest guest Posted December 25, 2008 Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 I agree with another member, you shouldn't be continuing to take Neurontin since it is having no effect. It would have done something well before a year passed if it was going to work. I started taking Neurontin years ago, it has helped my damaged nerves in my back and sides. It doesn't take a year to find the right dose. I was told I'd know in a month if it was having any effect and if it was then he and I would find which dose would did the most good for me. For me it took the three months to find that dosage and it has not needed to be changed. Your doctor is not being reasonable by telling you to keep taking it.
