Guest guest
glory be and halleujah!!!!!!!!!! oops spelling... you're alive, girl you're alive. So sorry you've been hurting a lot. Here's a question I ask on behalf of a friend of mine. Do your hands hurt you a great deal? She has seen a 2nd rheumy who thinks she has fibro and not polymyalgia rheumatica, her first DX. She is in tremendous pain and has to nap a couple times a day right now and is so depressed. The Soma sounds like a good drug to me! Glad at least you are able to sleep, coma or not. All the season's blessings to you and the sisters!
Guest guest
Dear , When I was first diagnosed, my hands killed me. In fact, that was the reason I got a refferal to the rheumatologist. I thought I was beginning RA. It was so bad in the morning that they looked like claws (matched the rest of my Godzilla-like visage--Godzilla is my " code name " at school) and hurt so much I could barely turn off the alarm. I was told that Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (my " technical " diagnosis) usually affects the hands first. Maybe your friend is starting MCTD? I will keep her in prayer. Merry, Merry, !!! Guest guest
..... I also had terrible hand pain before I was diagnosed. It got to the point I could hardly move my thumbs and fingers. Of course the first thing Dr. Nit Wit thought was Carpel Tunnel... Ann-Marie might be right in saying that your friend could be starting MCTD. Does she know of a Rheumy she can see? What a terrible time for this to be happening to her. I'll keep her in my prayers. Merry Christmas Everyone... Vicki
