Guest guest
Ron Since you previously had success with doing the flush, have you done that again since you've had those symptoms? If so, what were the results and if not - why not give that a try and see if it helps? (I don't know much about candida, so I will leave that part for someone else to respond to!) rachel~ RLSELF@... writes: > Question for you board members is: > In the last month I have had reoccurring Gall Bladder pain, bloating, > stomach cramps, pinching sensations in the abdominal region and > cramping back pain in the region of the kidneys. Guest guest
Hi Ron, I found this group after my GB surgery. During the six months prior to surgery, I increasingly suffered more frequent and more severe attacks. But, they were always associated within 1hr of eating fat in a meal, so I'm not sure what you mean by a " steady low grade Gallbladder attack. " Two weeks before my surgery I did experience pretty much constant gas and bloating (which felt like I had a grapefruit stuck under my ribs on the right side), and if I ate fat or protein, it would send me right into a horrible attack. This is just my opinion, but I don't believe the cholesterol lowering drugs are good for you. It is my understanding that the reason you had high cholesterol levels is because your liver is clogged with stones. Also, it is my understanding that eating the right kinds of fats is very important as well, and affects cholesterol levels. Have you made any dietary changes? You didn't mention how often you did the liver cleanse or how successful you were in eliminating stones, but IMO, the liver cleanse was the best thing you did for yourself. I had high cholesterol and was prescribed Pravocol. I took that and it reduced my cholesterol drastically. Between the flushes and the medicine, I stopped having gallbladder attacks. I now am facing a dilemma. I felt fine until a month ago. To begin my story, I had to have a root canal done on a molar 3 months ago. Only composite material wa used. I was given Erythromycin. I stopped taking the Pravachol as it reacts badly with Erythromycin. When I told my doctor that I had stopped taking the Pravacol he switched me onto Lipitor for the cholesterol. When I had taken Lipitor in a prior year, I had very bad reactions, body aches, gal bladder attacks ect. I tried taking it for a week a told the doc that I was not going to take anymore as it was making me sick. Ron.....castor oil packs over the liver area normalize cholesterol levels. I've done 1 hour packs to normalize cholesterol, cure ovarian cysts, clear out the liver and relieve pain. They work wonders. Have you looked up the potential side effects of the Pravocol and Lipitor? I'm not saying that you should stop these drugs or ignore your doctor but you will benefit greatly using the castor oil packs. http://home.online.no/~dusan/cures/castoroil.html Betsy Ron wrote: > I have to say it has been some time since I last visited this board. > I have been attack free for over two years thanks in part to this > board. Guest guest
Adrienne, I appreciate hearing you're response from a " real " person whose had gallbladder surgery. Guest guest
Hi Ron, Sounds like you should go back to the Pravocol instead of the Lipitor. Also, since the molar was 3 months ago, can you stop taking the Erythromycin and just go back on the Pravocol for the cholesterol problem? Sounds like that would almost get you back to pain-free. Since you are having gb bloating, pain, etc. have you decided to flush a few times again? The liver/gb cleansing sites that I have read encourage maintanance flushing even after the symptoms are gone. Once a year, twice a year, every three months ; just to keep your liver/gb and ducts clear of any new forming sludge, crystals, or small stones. Maybe that will get you back on track. Good luck and please tell us what you do. Be Healthy.
