Guest guest
Hello Friends, I guess by now most of you (in the US) have seen the sensational hub bub caused by Dr. Oz's report on the arsenic issue in apple juice. Again we see that casual worming of authoritative science stating the differences of chemical arsenic as opposed to the organic arsenic. They declare acceptability of this substance in juice. A statement made by Dr. Oz is that the organic arsenic changes to the unhealthy poison once it is in our system. He could not say how much or how bad. But there was a lot of badgering from the other side as Dr. Oz came on the morning shows of national stations to stand firm by his report. He does state the actual concern comes from the fact that apples are coming from China. Either way, again we see the potential of harm in chemicals, substances, additives preservatives, etc.that is allowed or added in our our foods. But the FDA continues saying it is substantially safe. Who is blind here? Which brings to mind a comment by a TV personality on this issue: " ...so if defective brakes on my car are 'substantially' safe that means I can drive around with my children across the country because it is safe?!... " Would you drive around a car that is substantially safe for yourself and family? I indeed would not. So, again, the emphasis is the necessity on watching the foods we eat and our families eat. But, most of all, if these substances do affect the population...imagine how it is affecting us who are so hyper sensitive to all these chemicals? That is why when you come to our site the main headline is DIET change. I have found that a nutritional regimen is almost a sixty percent healing solution if not eighty five. This includes vitamins, and(if possible) plus natural products to cure pain, sinus, etc. To many of us in a financial crunch, this is almost impossible. It was for me many years because my husband had his own food list to buy thus causing me to eat unhealthy foods. What happened is that he now needs to eat almost all the same foods I do because of his diabetes. What a blessing! So what we do now is find sales in organic stores to buy the fish and meat and root vegetables. Skinned fruit and vegetables we buy on sale in regular grocery stores. This has helped us alot. Hope this note helped. God bless,
