Guest guest
No foods for Taurine, it has to be synthesized by the body from cysteine. Hope this helps. Peace Lucinda ----- Original Message ----- From: barry91162 gallstones Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2002 10:01 PM Subject: Re: Beta TCP-Taurine... Susie, Oops, let me try again with a post. :-) So, let me ask the two questions again...btw, thanks for the Beta-TCP breakdown and dosage. Is the 'taurine' the active ingredient that thins the bile, or is it some other ingredient or combination of a few of them in the Beta-TPC? Also, is there a nature food source with taurine in it? Thanks again. You can go to Dr. Springer's website and he's got some stuff about Beta-TCP and what it does. Also, Dr. Mercola uses it for his patients who have gallstones to help them have relief. That's where I first found out about it. His website is: http://www.myvits.com/ Look at the place for Biotics Research. I think it's there. Susie
Guest guest
I can't find Beat-TCP in any health stores. Must only be online ordering. Thanks again. Barry. >> ___________________ Yeah, Barry, I know. When I first read about it on Dr. Mercola's website in a write-up, I started seeking places on the net that had it. I found only one place. It's Dr. Neal Springer's website that I order it from. Biotics Research Corp. only sells to healthcare professionals. So either you have to go to a doctor or fill out information at Dr. Springer's website. He wants to make sure that you have gallstones before you use it. I knew 100 percent that I did because of an ultrasound. His website is: http://www.myvits.com/ In case that link doesn't work, it's www.myvits.com Let me state that this people are wonderful. They have helped me so much. I feel that he's very honest and his wife, , in trying to help people. This has been my experience. BTW, Barry, I haven't had a GB attack since July of 2001, and it was a minor one when we were on our mini-vacation. This was before I started Beta-TCP in Sept. But I understand that what works for one person, doesn't always work for another. If you try it, I hope it works for you also. Take care, Susie
Guest guest
Barry, Do you have a Whole Foods Market in your area? They do carry strictly " taurine " and or you may want to try a natural herbal health store other than GNC. You will find it, just look in your phone book, if anything find a small co-op. Best of hunting to you. Peace Lucinda ----- Original Message ----- From: barry91162 gallstones Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2002 6:40 PM Subject: Re: Beta TCP-Taurine... Thanks Lucinda (And Susie), So, there is no natural food to get Taurine from. I've noticed in GNC stores that Taurine is in energetic, (body builders) supplements. I can't find Beat-TCP in any health stores. Must only be online ordering. Thanks again. Guest guest
ooopss.....sorry, yes Helge is right, it is in meat and fish source. Shame on me...*teeheehhe*..... I'm always thinking terms of vegetarian/vegan. Peace Lu ----- Original Message ----- From: Helge Gundersen gallstones Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2002 11:14 AM Subject: Re: Beta TCP-Taurine... Barry, Taurine is found in fish and meat, particularly much in the blood and the interior organs. To a large extent, it's made by cysteine, though. There's one friendly chap here in Norway who is totally hung up with the issue of taurine, constantly posting about it in food and nutrition newsgroups. If you go to http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search and search for taurine in the group sci.med.nutrition, you will find numerous discussions he has initiated, and maybe there's something useful to find among the more technical messages. -- Helge >Also, is there a nature food source with taurine in it? > >Thanks again. >Barry.
