Hi Apple;

It was on arf12s about a year ago. KenR might recall because he

was posting at that time. Reese was going ballistic over it and so

were some others.

The fellow doing the dissertation was canadian, but studying I

believe at Cal Berkley. I didn't pay big time attention at the time,

but remember I did get a personal mail from Ken regarding

something else, along about then. He may have the original stuff.

I was using a different computer and it got screwed up by some

AT & T software and I ended up formatting the hard drive and

reinstalling everything. So even if I had it I don't now. I quit arf12s

about 8 months ago, just too much aggrivation.

The " Q " score(I believe it stands for Qualification) is established by

some loaded qestions scattered through the test. Each one has 4

possible answers. Average Q is 20-40 and anything outside that

can mean serious problems or someone who just marked answers

at random without reading the questions. I took one in 68 and got

a 47 heavy in religion and the shrink couldn't understand it. He had

sent the test home with me and failed to tell me I was supposed to

do it as quickly as I could. I spent 20 hours on it considering each

question. He retested me and I did the thing in two hours and had

a 28 on the Q I was on probation and the tester knew nothing

about me except my name age and I was on probation. He nailed

me with that second test. Told me I had a substance problem and

he guessed alcohol. He went on to tell me a lot of stuff about me

that I knew, but he got from the test. Quite an experience. He

was an intern in the psychiatry dept and a nice guy. He missed

the PTSD, but it was 1968 and I suppose a lot more was known by

1990 when I saw Dr Laing.

How do I send you my story, just email it to you?
