From Krista (IVF mentioned)

Hey ladies (and gentleman)!

Sorry it has taken so long to come online, but the power was out all day!

Ugh. At least I got some cleaning done, and that is good.

SCROLL DOWN (IVF mentioned)....

Last night, I had another horrible headache. Then, hot flashes. Then, my

joints (knees) started to hurt. These are all " normal " symptoms associated

with Lupron, but I was really frustrated about it. You see, the symptoms

only show up after 14 days, and I only expected to be on it (only, and twice

a day) for 14 days! Today was Day 18! Well, I called my RE. The nurse went

ahead and set up an appointment for my bloodwork and u/s for tomorrow

morning. She said that some women just don't get AF. This was about 11:00

A.M. Well, this afternoon, who should show up? AF herself. Good thing that

I had already made the appointment, as the office was closed. They have

appointments on the weekends, but don't take them. Does that make sense? I

hope I explained that right. If I hadn't of called, I would have had to wait

until Monday to have my bloodwork and u/s done. If everything checks out

okay tomorrow, I will start the stims (possibly) tomorrow night.

Please say a little prayer for us, as we need all the help we can get.
