hi there people! just want to share my experience with you guys and

its not so ok. i just had a gallstone flush last satruday, march 10

and everything was ok until i woke up at 4am and im having an

attack. i felt very awful. are you suppose to have an attack while

doing the cleanse?

i felt awful the whole day of monday. the whole day, i was in pain.

i have to take pain relievers so the pain would go away.

the flush was successful. i had passed out stones but not too many.

maybe around 300 stones and im afraid to repeat it again as i might

suffer an attack again while doing the flush.

the epsom salt was awful. can anyone sugegst an alternative for that?

the olive oil and grapefruit juice was ok. easier to swallow than

the epsom salt with water.

im still not ok while making this email. i feel weak from the flush

i have done sunday evening.

just want to talk with someone to assure me that im doing the right

thing instead of surgery

You might also find a lot of information about herbal antispasmodics through

a search on the internet. (It's just a personal preference of mine to not

add medication to the detox job of the liver, but I respect the choices

others make as well.) If I come across any information I will gladly pass it

along.

Well, Barry, since you live there, I doubt that I could get it here at all

unless I have a prescription. I'm not sure of anything else around here.

Maybe I could ask a pharmacist and he/she might know something.

I appreciate it anyway.

take care,

Susie

I use Buscapina. But then again, I live in Cancun and can get

anything over the counter. Just ask the farmacy what they have for

antispasmodic pills, or ask your doctor to prescribe something

strong. Wish I could give you the U.S. name but I don't know what it

is. (Buscaphine?)

Works wonders for me.

Lu, I didn't even know I had stones and have done 5 flushes and gotten many

stones and sludge. I always feel very weak and yucky so plan the next day with

no chores. I even make my homemade light veggie soup the night before, ready to

cook fresh the next day to break fast with. of Dewberry Hill

,

I have only done two cleanses and what you describe has been my experience. My

second one was the most awful and I got really sick but I might have had some

touch of the flu. I get that tight feeling you describe and yes, feeling washed

out from it all.

Peace Lu

Barry,

You are in Cancun? Oh me oh my, then tell me, what wonderful things are there

to do for a vacation besides lounging on the beach. Me and a friend are looking

at trips and one of our options is Cancun. Just today I was surfing the net

looking to see what things they had to do there and wasn't sure if it would be a

good place for us to go or not. The other is Puerto Plata . We missed our trip

to Italy last Sept. due to TTT (twin tower tragedy).

Peace

Lu

I agree that perhaps an herbal alternative would be useful for spasms. I would

think that for promoting restful sleep as well as being anti-spasmodic that a

person would try Valerian Root rather than the amino acid some are taking.

Chamomile would be another good herb, Lobelia....these are all good for the

digestive tract a well.

Thanks for sharing this with me. I can see these to be sound choices to make.

I know some people have a very strong constitution and could weather it just

fine, like Barry and seem to be very vigorous. I am hoping I will gain

some of that vim and vigor through these flushes. LOL

Last night after I took the oil/juice drink I was reading (for inspiration!)

in some information from Dr. Schulze. He just happened to mention

antispasmodics and of his own formulas he recommends Lobelia Tincture and

Digestive Formula. I just thought I'd pass that along for herbal

antispasmodic alternatives. I have the Digestive Formula, so IF I ever have

another gallbladder attack (which I naturally hope that I won't!) I will try

that formula and see if it helps.

Lu,

This is sort of off the topic but since you've asked...

I'd recommend Cancun over P. Plata anyday. Cancun is the #1 Caribbean

resort with lots of things to do and Mayan stuff to see. Also, if you

get here this month (March is Spring Break month) you can go naked

bungie jumping with the kids after midnight. :-)

TTT- 911? Look at my name. Yep, my B-Day is now bad history. :-(

Anyway, Happy Flushing.
