Guest guest
That is an effective treatment for prostate cancer, compared to standard chemo. Generally more effective and less harm I hear.  But I've never heard of it being proposed for MS.  Can't think of a mechanism by which it would be effective. Toxics avoidance, detox, good nutrition, are all things to do for all, but I would not do an invasive treatment without having a good reason for considering it.  It will suppress the immune system which might reduce symptoms, but that doesn't mean healing.   Try to figure out what the likely factors causing the MS symptoms are- by tests, history evaluation, etc.  Then deal with the most likely factors.   Do you have mercury dental fillings or metal crowns over amalgam? If so, you have high mercury exposure and likely need to deal with that.  Many have metal crowns with nickel (front teeth) or palladium.  Both highly immune reactive and can be involved in MS. Another group of toxic substance substances with widespread exposure that have been demonstrated to generate reactive oxygen species and have positive correlations to neurological conditions are the organochlorine pesticides.  Toxic metals appear to be only one of the factors involved in chronic autoimmune conditions.  Pathogens such as viruses, mycoplasma, bacteria and parasites have been found to usually be present and a factor to deal with in treating those with chronic degenerative conditions and weakened immune systems such as MS and other autoimmune conditions. These are mostly a result of damaged immune system, and dealing with the toxics issues allows the immune system to deal with the biological agents better. Bernie
